Room by room.
Document by document.

Orizon structures the documentation problem the way lighting controls are actually designed — one zone at a time, one room at a time.

1

Set up your project

Enter project info, select your energy code, system wiring, and architecture. The wizard pre-loads appropriate defaults for your project type.

2

Add zones and rooms

Create floors or areas, then add rooms. Select a space type — Office, Healthcare, Education, and more — and presets load code-compliant defaults automatically.

3

Configure each space

Set occupancy sensing, time-switch, daylight harvesting, manual controls, and integration parameters. The compliance bar shows pass/fail in real time as you work.

4

Export the package

Every document generates automatically. Export the full package as PDF, or copy individual sections for your spec template.

Every code. Every room.
Real time.

Orizon checks your controls design against the energy code of record as you work — no manual review required.

ASHRAE 90.1-201920-min timeout, standard requirements
ASHRAE 90.1-2022Addendum bx, primary daylight zone expansion

Common questions

What codes does Orizon check compliance against?
Orizon1 checks ASHRAE 90.1-2019, ASHRAE 90.1-2022, IECC 2021, IECC 2024, CA Title-24 2022, and NYC Energy Code 2022. Checks include occupancy sensor timeouts, manual shutoff requirements, daylight zone classifications, exterior curfew dimming, and more — per code, per room, in real time.
Is there a limit on the number of projects or rooms?
No per-project or per-room limits on any paid tier. Pro seats are limited by storage (1 GB), Project Manager by 50 GB. Enterprise is unlimited. A typical fully-documented project is 50–200 KB of storage.
Can multiple people at my firm use Orizon?
Yes. Each person needs their own seat. Project Manager seats can see and edit all projects belonging to their firm. Pro seats see only their own projects. A single Project Manager seat can support a team of Pro seats.
Can I export my work offline?
Yes. Use Data → Export JSON at any time to download a complete project file. Use Import JSON to restore it. The full PDF export package works offline once the page has loaded. You're never locked into the cloud.
What browsers does Orizon support?
Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop. Orizon is not designed for mobile — the room editor requires adequate screen space. A minimum 1280px wide display is recommended.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from your billing portal — click your avatar in the app and select Manage Billing. No cancellation fees. Your projects remain accessible until the end of your billing period.
